Use LagGoggles to Diagnose Lag in Minecraft

LagGoggles is a visual profiler mod that allows you to see exactly what entities and tile entities are causing the lag on your server. LagGoggles is available on CurseForge for Minecraft 1.10+

Install LagGoggles

Forge versions 5.3+

Versions 5.3 and above need TickCentral installed

  1. Go to the CurseForge page for LagGoggles and click on the "Download Latest File" button at the top right.

  2. Copy the file you downloaded to the "mods" folder of the modpack you are using to connect to the server.

  3. Take a back up of your server before adding the mods just incase.

  4. Use SFTP to upload the exact same file to the "mods" folder on your server.

  5. Restart your server.
